RESPİTE CARE
“Being a home carer is a role that can be
physically and mentally demanding. Respite care
allows a carer to recharge their
batteries, safe in the knowledge that a loved one is being well
cared for. It helps to prevent stress and
burnout, allowing a carer to enjoy a well-earned break
and return
feeling refreshed and with renewed energy.”
Respite
care will be offered for clients whose permanent carers or relatives who are
responsible
his/her care will be away on certain periods due to holidays, sickness, etc.
Depending
on the needs and health/physical condition of the client, it can be provided in
the
form of
“Companionship care” or “Dementia care”.
